Craftstitute currently offers three class options for parties, groups, team building events, you name it.

We are happy to help you scout out a location in your price range that will work for the class.

Pulling an item out of an indigo dye pot and watching the color develop from pale yellow-green to deep blue is magical. We'll supply excellent reference books and over-the-shoulder instruction as you experiment with dye resist methods using clamps, beans, rubber bands, string, jar lids, and strips of wood. It is always a lot of fun.

We’ll provide a choice of a silk, rayon, or cotton scarf; you bring up to two other items weighing no more than 8 oz (such as napkins, dish towels, a t-shirt, or a yard of fabric) to dye.  Items must be silk, cotton, wool, or linen.

Maximum class size: 20.

In this fun introductory class, you'll warm up your scissor skills by collaging a postcard. Then you'll create a unique pendant or pair of earrings.  We will help you apply the resin for perfect results. You will have access to the Craftstitute paper collection, which includes everything from colorful printed paper to vintage science books.

Maximum class size: 20.

This workshop will teach you the basics of block printing, from designing and carving your block, to transferring your images to paper (we will be using stamp pads to minimize the wash-up mess). You will receive two rubber blocks to carve and cards to print on, creating your own unique stationery.

Maximum class size: 10.
